    Beverlin Manufacturing is a growing family-owned niche supplier of perforated metal tube products and assemblies which are used in global filtration, exhaust and industrial markets. Beverlin offers a very generous PTO package, and a competitive Benefits package which is available on the date of hire. Currently we are looking for a Launch Welding Engineer to round out our team. This is a hands-on role with a heavy presence on the production floor delivering new products to manufacturing.

    Basic Function:

    Responsible for determining optimal methods and processes for all new product and new processes integration.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Establish process flow for new parts and process engineering changes
    • Support launch programs with team
    • Creating and update master part routings in Beverlin system
    • Establish Bill of Material in Beverlin system
    • Create & modify component and internal part drawings for welded assembly
    • Create WPS and PQR documentation as required for new parts
    • Create & design drawings for internal manufacturing and assembly tooling.
    • Working with Suppliers on new parts
    • Creating Incoming inspection criteria
    • Support problem solving & manufacturing issues on the floor

    Necessary Skills:

    • Bachelors degree in technical field required (Mechanical or Welding preferred)
    • 1+ years of experience as an M.E., Weld engineer, or similar role
    • Experience in metals fabrication/manufacturing, Proficiency with GTAW required,
    • Experience with lasers or laser programming and roll forming is beneficial
    • Strong Data driven analytical problem-solving skills
    • CAD experience required, Inventor/ Fusion a plus
    • Ability to read and understand part Prints and Drawings
    • Familiarity with GD&T and part assembly stack-ups is beneficial.
    • Broad knowledge of product design, manufacture and assembly techniques
    • IT skills, incl Microsoft suite products (word, excel, power point)
    • Ability to work with and communicate to all levels of organization (above and below).
