Qualifications

Are you a self-trained engineer or a recent college graduate who loves coaching others as much as you love developing software?

If so, you might be perfect for LaunchCode’s Scrum Master boot camp. Selected candidates will undergo a full time, 5-day boot camp before beginning a paid, 180-day apprenticeship at a Fortune 500 company. Apprenticeship opportunity includes medical benefits and 33% pay increases approximately halfway through the program.

At the end of the apprenticeship, qualified candidates will have the opportunity to be offered a full-time position. Traditionally, 4 out of 5 LaunchCode candidates receive full-time offers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize tasks in product backlog
• Break big challenges into bit-sized solutions.
• Collaborate with business groups to maximize technology value for both the business and customers
• Work with stakeholders to remove blockers and escalate unresolved issues

Qualifications:

• Insatiable curiosity to understand customer and stakeholder needs
• Passion, drive, and aptitude to succeed in technology
• Willingness to engage in analytical conversations and activities
• The ability to work full-time in the United States and a desire for your apprenticeship to become a full-time job

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous coding experience
• Ability to discuss and evaluate multiple points of view while remaining confident in representing the customer and development team
• Strong-willed, but diplomatic
• Desire to read widely on product development techniques including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps
