    QPS Employment Group is actively hiring a TEAM LEAD - PROFESSIONAL RECRUITER to lead the IT Recruiting division for our West Allis, WI office. The Team Lead will continue to recruit and place IT Professionals, as well as lead a team of Professional IT Recruiters. This person will handle the majority of client communication. The role requires strong skills in leadership, relationship building, critical thinking, coaching and mentoring. This is a full-time, internal, direct hire position with QPS. Because our Professional Recruiters work out of our branch locations, there is minimal travel, it is working with local clients. The team is using Bullhorn recruiting software, has access to all the major job boards and LinkedIn Recruiter. You will receive a monthly phone reimbursement and are eligible for our company benefits package. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their own career, has an entrepreneurial and competitive spirit, dedicated to their own and the team's success and wants to make more money.

    DUTIES:

    • Develops individual results by providing coaching, conducting and recommending training, and mentoring members of the team
    • Determines training and coaching needs by observing recruiting, interviewing and presentation skills of team
    • Assists recruiters in establishing personal contact and rapport with candidates and clients
    • Participates in the sales aspect of obtaining new job orders for the team to work on
    • Prepare and extend offers to select candidates
    • Maintain and develop candidate pipeline and client data base
    • Participate in networking and community events to promote referrals
    • Developing new recruiting sources and strategies

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 4-7 years experience with successful track record in recruiting
    • 1-2 years minimum of leadership responsibility
    • High School Diploma OR GED required, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrate superior communication, problem solving, time management and negotiation skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
    • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, vehicle

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE: 

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in an architecture or construction related field or degree from related technical school. 3 years related experience working for a production homebuilder.

     

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

    Creativity and ability to visually communicate ideas relative to design and specifications; visual orientation and ability to conceptualize and understand spatial relationships.  Computer literacy and fluent in AutoCad Architecture 2011 or higher. Ability to read blueprints.  Excellent organizational skills to coordinate a variety of tasks within deadlines and time constraints with little direction from others. Good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of organization.  Knowledge of current Florida Building Code and local municipal requirements. Knowledge of regional construction techniques. Fluent in AutoCAD Architecture (v.2011 or higher) with extensive use of Project Navigator and Xrefs.
