FLORIDA SOUTHWESTERN STATE COLLEGE is accepting resumes in search of a FACILITIES QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER to join our team. This position is responsible for assessment and documentation of facilities conditions Collegewide. The Facilities Quality Control Manager provides support to the Director of Facilities Maintenance and Construction by recommending and prioritizing small projects to support department goals and initiatives. 

The Department of Facilities Planning and Management aggressively pursues the department's mission to develop, implement and manage the College's facilities and grounds in order to offer a healthful, safe and secure environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Facility planning provides the technical knowledge and experience to conceptualize design and construct projects necessary to continue Florida SouthWestern State College's mission.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Associates degree in construction, engineering, mechanical, electrical, business management or a related field.
• Four (4) years full-time related work experience. An appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems; trade skills, energy management system and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and effectively communicate small project ideas to designers and contractors.
• Ability to independently travel to all FSW campuses in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, and Hendry counties and other locations for College business.
