Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring that laundry services are provided efficiently and effectively. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities:

- Laundry Operations: Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items, including linens, uniforms, and personal items, according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing inventory of laundry supplies; report low supplies and assist with placing orders as needed.
- Sanitation Standards: Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring that all items are properly sanitized and handled in compliance with health regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry activity, including counts of items washed and any special handling instructions.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services; communicate any issues or concerns to management promptly.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal and external clients, responding to any laundry-related inquiries professionally and courteously.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience in laundry services or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality laundry service.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
