You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: • Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed • Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager • Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods • Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs Qualifications: • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products • Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
