Our Fire Restoration division is currently seeking passionate, caring individuals to join our team. Laundry and Content cleaning technicians work in our warehouse to clean and deodorize personal property affected by fire and water damage. This is a part-time position that the ideal candidate would need to work 4pm-8/9pm Monday through Friday. Applicants must have the ability to lift 35 pounds. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must. Experience in cleaning is preferred but not required. Criminal background check is required for this position. We provide PAID training. DESCRIPTION: This person is responsible for the packing, cleaning, and handling of contents.

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professionally represent the PD principles of honesty and integrity

Work at the direction of the Warehouse Manager

Set up work stations, including assembling boxes

Assist in identifying damaged items

Gather, sort, pack affected contents

Sort articles before cleaning, separating them by fabric, color, cleaning technique, or dirt content for best in class results

Clean and process affected contents

Must also have the drive to work thoroughly without cutting corners, in order to properly care for each article

Proficient utilization of applicable cleaning equipment

Repackage cleaned contents

Sort and count articles as they are removed from dryers; hang, fold or wrap the articles according to requirements or personal attention to detail

Proactive communication with management and team leaders

Show up clean, work clean, leave the work area cleaner than it was when you arrived, and clean up after yourself

Inventory all laundry and contents with in house tablets or computers

Restock supplies

Must be willing to work onsite and in the warehouse

Must be able to stand, walk and stretch for long periods

Excellent organizational skills
