Who are we looking for?
The Business Operations Manager is an individual who is detail-oriented, business savvy, likes variety, and operates well independently. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. This person draws energy from working with people and is optimistic and outgoing. Store profitability and building systems for scale will be their top priorities. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company's multiple laundromat locations to include bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting tasks. They will also be responsible for assisting the leadership team with growing additional stores.
What will you do?
Essential duties and responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Communicate financial information to management in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage bank balances and provide bill payment oversite.
Manage core Human Resource responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Main point of communication and coordination of companywide events.
Main point of contact for investor team.
Maintain and optimize company operations manual and all business systems.
Facilitate the acquisition, construction, and launch of new stores.
Manage all historical data for all stores.
Knowledge/Skills
Experience with accounting software: Quickbooks
Strong organizational skills
Learning-based mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
3+ years of relevant professional experience in retail management, bookkeeping or financial management role
4-Year Business, Finance, or Accounting Degree Preferred
Experience in the laundromat industry is a plus
Compensation
$45,000 - $55,000 per year; Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
