We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens, and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Ideally, you have experience with industrial washing products and the capacity to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. If you’re friendly, reliable, and take pride in a job well done, apply now! Exceptional attendance can earn an additional $1 per hour for punctuality, full shift attendance, and no call-ins Responsibilities: • Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low • Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed • Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements • Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find • Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations Qualifications: • This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly • At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred • Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
