Job Overview Rustic Deco Incorporated designs and manufactures unique furnishings and is seeking a Marketing Associate to help coordinate activities related to its rapidly expanding e-commerce business. The Marketing Associate must be an action-oriented autonomous problem solver and is responsible for providing technical support that ensures timely implementation of operational and strategic marketing plans. The position is virtual. Responsibilities and Duties - Creating, editing, and finalizing digital marketing media, including written content for blogs/newsletters/brochures, videos, motion graphics and images. - Assisting with the setup, facilitation, and completion of online marketing activities associated with the company's websites, sales channels, and social media platforms. - Gathering and analyzing online data to evaluate customer engagement and recommend improvement opportunities for marketing campaigns, sales funnels, and product listings. - Perform product and website SEO audits to identify erroneous/outdated information and coding. Develop and execute action plans that correct and prevent the observed issues while maximizing SEO results. Qualifications and Skills - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in the Marketing Associate role. They regularly need to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other company employees to understand the needs of the marketing function. - Creativity: Creativity allows the Marketing Associate to create visually appealing images and marketing materials, making it a very useful to the marketing department. - Analytical: Marketing Associates are often involved in the research and reporting of marketing campaign results. Analytical skills enable the Marketing Associate when compiling data and presenting it in an easy-to-understand method. - Project management: Marketing Associates are often simultaneously involved with multiple initiatives. The ability to organize and process details with minimum error while completing projects in a timely manner is crucial in this position. - Software: To perform well on specific Rustic Deco duties while working virtually, Marketing Associates must quickly acquire and continuous garner skills and abilities for several specific software applications: 1) MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook, 2) Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign and After Effects, 3) Shopify and its add-on marketing applications, 4) Social Media: Instagram Business, Facebook Business, Pinterest Business and LinkedIn, 5) Search engines: Google AdWords, Analytics, Merchant; and Bing Merchant.
