Laurel Ag & Water is looking for a self-motivated, exceptional Filter/ Welding Fabricator. As a key member of the Construction team, the Filter/ Welding Fabricator will assemble filter stations and fabricate materials as needed to complete those stations while working efficiently and safely. Laurel is looking for a strong hands-on Filter/ Welding Fabricator with a proven track record of being an essential part of the processes in an installation. This role will report to the Filter Manager.

This person will be passionate about understanding our customer's needs and creating solutions that maximize our performance at Laurel. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Verify details and materials for each project prior to Fabricating
• Construct fab pieces according to approved details
• Verify all dimensions before completion
• Check off all pieces are accounted for and labeled correctly
• Assemble the filter station (including sand and gravel), field fabricate piping, paint and wrap, minor filter station wiring
• Filter Department Housekeeping, Personal Organization & Safety
  1. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, tools, inventory & supplies daily to be fully prepared at all time
  2. Always maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all applicable safety regulations
  3. Participate in all required technical and safety trainings
• Service Call Work
  1. Assess & diagnose service work
  2. Prompt and professional customer communication
  3. Provide complete scope for proposed repairs to be quoted by internal teams including design and estimating
  4. Photo document work site and all work performed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Must have welding experience (Familiar techniques in black steel and stainless steel)
• Attention to detail
