    JOB TYPE: Direct Hire, FTE JOB LOCATION: NEW ORLEANS, LA JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Sales Development Representative position is an inside sales role that is responsible for the solicitation and sale of Lavoda Systems’ consulting services and products by conducting inbound and outbound sales calls. The position will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining effective communications and relations with customers and providing exceptional customer service before, during and after the sales are made.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Initiate interest and schedule appointments for account executives with potential clients
    • Maintain sales goals and meet quotas
    • Prepare action plans to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts and sales to be made
    • Follow up on inbound leads and referrals as assigned; identify new sales prospects through cold calling and contact these and other accounts as assigned
    • Establish potential client relationships, demonstrating the organization's culture statement through actions
    • Communicate new sales and promotion opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered to new clients
    • Identify and resolve client concerns in a way that protects the business interests
    • Professionally respond to email and other inquiries, educating clients on various product options
    • May perform other sales support duties as assigned, focusing on company values and a positive work environment

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is preferred or the equivalent related work experience combined with appropriate education
    • Minimum of one-year experience in quota driven sales environment with demonstrated success, two years customer service and/or sales experience preferred
    • Previous sales experience in an SDR role is preferred but not required
    • Proficiency with Windows-based computers, MS Office, email correspondence and call handling using software defined voice calling systems
    • Strong ability to educate and convey features and benefits to others, overcome objections, close sales and work within an environment where a second effort is often required
    • Consultative sales experience preferred
    • Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
    • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to develop and deliver verbal presentations in a professional and knowledgeable manner
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively
    • Ability to work in a highly structured environment
    • Ability to be self-driven, initiate own activities, be a self-starter, and take personal initiative for success
