    We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Law Clerk to support our production team in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with others, and ensuring important documents are handled accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with attorneys and team members to help keep appeals moving efficiently. If you’re proactive, comfortable following structured processes, and take pride in getting the details right, this could be a great fit. What We’re Looking For: • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Organized and comfortable using tools like spreadsheets and checklists • Clear and professional communication skills • Dependable and comfortable working in a structured environment • Available for a flexible 12–18-hour work week Responsibilities: • Assist in the copy room with scanning, printing, filing, and docketing of appeal documents • Enter data into our case management system • Generate templated documents and assist with client mailings via USPS, UPS, and messenger • Help prepare appeal documents at all levels • File and retrieve documents from the Cook County Assessor, Board of Review, and Treasurer’s Office (downtown) • Link emails to our internal case management system • Assist with research and special projects as needed • Provide general administrative support to the production team Qualifications: • High school diploma • 0–2 years of experience in a legal or office setting preferred • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for in-person document filing and pickups at local government offices • Interest in the legal field is a plus • Permanent, part-time opportunity with work conducted onsite Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly
