Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain files to ensure information is up to date and deadlines are properly docketed • Write legal memoranda specifying results of research in order to assist in determining the best course of action for court proceedings • Prepare the initial drafts of various documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses • Update clients on the status of their case • Prepare clients for and conduct depositions • Prepare for and argue motions in court • Prepare for, attend, and report on medical conferences involving our expert doctors and nurse case managers • Assist with client intake and initial case assessment Qualifications: • Plan to take or have already passed state bar exam • Display attention to detail and strong work ethic • Candidates must have great writing skills and communication skills to be able to argue effectively Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
