    As a Law Clerk you will work directly under attorneys and take on meaningful responsibility. Your work will help drive cases forward— preparing documents, coordinating with clients, and supporting motions, discovery, and trial work. You will be part of a collaborative litigation team and gain exposure to all stages of a personal injury / tort litigation docket.

    Key Responsibilities

    Draft notices, subpoenas, deposition notices, discovery requests and responses

    Assist attorneys with preparation for trial, court hearings and depositions

    Prepare motions, briefs, memos, correspondence

    Coordinate and schedule depositions, witness interviews, medical exams, site inspections

    Maintain and update case files, index, document management

    Review and analyze medical records, bills, reports, pleadings

    Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and vendors (courts, court reporters, experts)

    Trial support and Trial attendance opportunities

    Minimum Qualifications & Skills

    Current law student, Juris Doctor (J.D.) candidate (awaiting to take Bar exam or results)

    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word

    Strong computer skills

    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and disciplined follow-up

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to manage multiple cases and shifting priorities

    Comfortable working in a team environment yet able to work independently

    High integrity and professionalism

    Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

    Familiarity with Westlaw / Lexis / legal research tools

    Trial support experience (preparing exhibits, witness binders, trial logistics)

    Pay Range: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

    We expect to start most hires in the mid-to-upper portion of this range, particularly for those with strong litigation experience, excellent writing skills, or relevant clerkship exposure.

    Work Schedule & Location

    Standard 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

    Fully in-office in Orange County, CA

    Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required in trial or motion cycles
