Contract Opportunity – Regional Counterdrug Training Academy (RCTA) Primary Locations:
Naval Air Station Meridian, Meridian, MS 39309
Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg, MS 39401 (Additional training sites across the Southeast and nationwide possible, including Alaska and Hawaii)
Employer: Augustine Angels (Government Contractor) Position Type: Part-Time / Independent Contractor
📚 Courses You’ll Lead
Peer Support Course (32 hours / 4 days) – resiliency, stress survival, suicide prevention, family/work stress management, peer support skills.
Officer Involved Shooting for Drug Enforcement Course (8 hours / 1 day) – preparing officers for the physical, emotional, investigative, and public perception challenges following an officer-involved shooting.
✅ Desired Qualifications
5–10+ years of law enforcement experience (local, state, federal, or military police).
Retired or senior-level professional preferred (detective, supervisor, federal agent, academy trainer, etc.).
Proven background in critical incidents, officer wellness, peer support, or officer survival training.
Instructor or academy teaching experience strongly preferred.
Must pass background checks and meet DoD installation access requirements.
Willingness to travel for training delivery (telework not authorized).
