    Our busy law office is growing, and we need a legal case manager to work alongside attorneys and achieve our clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that our clients’ goals are met. Responsibilities: • Aid attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as requested • Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements • Draw up legal documents for attorney review • Consult with attorneys and provide recommendations with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client’s goals • Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies Qualifications: • A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred - High school diploma is required • Case management process experience is needed - preferably in employment law, or other plaintiff-side work such as personal injury. • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are a must. • The ability to follow detailed company procedures and provide accurate and thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle of a case. • Great customer service skills and the ability to provide an exceptional client experience. • An organized self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once. • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software. • Legal research and legal drafting experience are critical. • A desire to learn and understand California Employment law. Compensation: $23 - $35 hourly
