    ABOUT THE FIRM:

    Busy and growing Law Office of Nirav S. Patel, PC, is seeking a real estate attorney to join the team. The law firm provides transactional services in different fields (Business, Corporate, Commercial, Real Estate, and other general practice matters) within Cook, DuPage, Kane, Will and Lake Counties and the greater Chicagoland area. Our mission is to provide excellent legal services to every one of our clients. We are constantly in the pursuit of perfection while representing our clients.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Responsible for all real estate related matters, including contract review, file progression, review and drafting of closing documents, and attending closings
    • Duties include all aspects of managing the purchase and selling process for buyers and sellers from Contracting through Closing
    • Negotiate and coordinate execution of agreements, leases, and amendments as necessary

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
    • Member of the Illinois State Bar
    • 2-3 years of related experience or exposure
    • Experience in residential real estate is required
    • Experience in commercial real estate, business transaction, and corporate law is a plus
    • Proficiency in reviewing real estate closing documents, surveys and title clearance documents
    • Must enjoy a fast-paced work day, be a self-starter, and be motivated to succeed
    • Strong organizational and oral and written communication skills
    • Must have a high attention to detail and be able to multitask
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of work product
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, depending on the situation
    • Must have a vehicle to attend closings
    • The ideal candidate must be flexible in his or her daily routine as this position requires attending real estate closings, in-office work, and telecommuting depending on scheduling
    • Portable client base is a plus
    • Bilingual is a plus

    • This position will be based out of Bloomingdale, IL but can be a HYBRID between office and telecommuting when not attending closings.
