Responsibilities: • Provide legal representation to individuals on immigration matters including representation in court appearances • Conduct thorough consultations with clients and make appropriate referrals to outside agencies and prepping sessions with clients for interviews with immigration judges • Supervise the work of paralegals in recordkeeping and document preparation • Preparing documents in the client’s file • Managing legal documentation and correspondence confidentiality • Drafting motions, orders, judgments and status updates Qualifications: • Experience with a high-volume practice • Must have a Juris Doctor degree and admitted to practice law in the United States • Must possess 3+ years of Immigration law experience handling all types of family-based immigration cases • Experience with removal defense and litigation cases in Immigration court is required • Excellent writing and communication skills are required • Must be able to set priorities and exercise good judgment • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines • Prior law firm experience is required Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 yearly
