    IMMIGRATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY The ideal candidate is highly motivated, excellent writing skills, and a genuine interest in immigration justice.

    Qualifications:

    *Must be licensed in California. *Minimum of 2-4 years of immigration experience as a licensed attorney is a MUST. *100% BILINGUAL IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH in both oral and written communication. *Highly detail-oriented. *Amazing bedside manner with clients. *Ability to handle a full case-load. *Responsible, punctual, articulate, fast learner, self-motivated, team player. *Conduct and dress him/herself in a professional manner.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The ideal candidate MUST have a STRONG immigration law background. This cannot be emphasized enough!

    Additionally, the ideal candidate MUST be an individual with a passion for immigrant rights who is accustomed to SCREENING phone calls, case types, and meeting with clients. This person will manage a large caseload in a broad range of immigration fields -- i.e. removal defense, family-based immigration (including a heavy I-601A caseload), asylum, DACA, U nonimmigrant visa, employment-based immigration, and investor visa applications to name some.

    EXCELLENT written and oral skills are a MUST as s/he will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients and working closely with them in preparing their cases/filings, including, but not limited to, gathering documents, drafting declarations, translating documents, and addressing client questions and concerns.

    The candidate will also appear before the EOIR (to represent clients in immigration hearings); USCIS (to represent clients for green card/naturalization/ and asylum interviews); correspond with other government agencies, schools representatives, religious leaders and organizations, social workers, and medical professionals to obtain necessary evidence and advocate for clients.

    S/he will work under the supervision of the attorney/owner of the practice. While some training will be provided as required, any applicant will need to be prepared to "hit the ground running."

    Hours: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and some Saturdays (must be willing to work overtime whenever necessary).

    Salary: Commensurate with experience.
