We are searching for a highly analytical applicant who is capable of working full time and possesses strong negotiation and organizational abilities to join our growing firm as an estate planning attorney. You will create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families and educate them on matters of insurance and powers of attorney. To guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions, this role demands a high degree of responsibility. Responsibilities: • Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney • Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process • Educate clients about options for retirement, donating to charity, and purchasing insurance • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current Qualifications: • Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation • Must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have the ability and desire to work in our Jacksonville office. Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly based on experience and book
