We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team. This position is 100% office based. Our ideal candidate will have a Paralegal Certification and at least 3 years of experience with family law specifically. You will also need to have excellent research and communication skills, a proficient knowledge of drafting documents and discovery, a positive and supportive attitude, and work well on your own as well as with a team.
General Accountabilities
Manage a docket consisting of Divorces, SAPCR's, Modifications and Enforcements for several Attorneys. Organize, enter and cross-reference documents electronically. Obtain, assemble and organize documents pertinent to litigation. Prepare discovery requests and responses. Assist in the preparation of statements and witnesses. Assists counsel with organizing and carrying out special projects. Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources and provides written analysis to Attorneys. Proficiency in billing time
Job Qualifications
Paralegal Certification and/or minimum of 3 years' experience in Family Law. Team Player and individual self-starter is a mandatory requirement. Provide a minimum of 3 references related to legal experience.
