General practice law firm is looking for an experienced paralegal for our New City office. Experience in one or more of these areas is preferred (real estate, personal injury, litigation, and estate practice work).

Salary will be based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Ability to deal with clients, brokers, title companies, lenders, and attorneys
• Organizing and maintaining legal paperwork, files, exhibits, and other important information pertaining to our clients.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents.
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks including answering phones, case management, and responding to emails.
• Regular communication with clients, courts, and various other individuals and law firms
• Ability to draft legal documents and correspondence to clients and other various people
• Maintain the attorney's calendar, monitor court dates

Qualifications:

• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Familiar with e-filing and different New York courts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office is required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication and organization skills
