Work where you know the owner, interact daily with our clients and help us grow the firm.  We are a Trust, Estates, and Special Needs law firm located in Newport Beach that is seeking a positive and compassionate full-time Receptionist/Legal Administrative Assistant who is looking for a career position where he/she can grow with a firm, be challenged and work in a familial and collaborative environment. In this role, you will take control of the front-end client experience by being the firm’s first point of contact. This position will handle important administrative duties related to direct attorney and staff support, customer service, and client retention. We need an individual who is a team player, has excellent administrative and communication skills, and who brings energy, positivity, and a “can-do” attitude to work every day. Responsibilities: • Answer phones, welcome clients, and set up conference rooms for meetings • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and update client statuses in the firm’s practice management system • Communicate with potential and existing clients by phone, in person, and by email • Assist team members when they need a hand • Manage paper and electronic case files • Receive and process daily mail • Copy, scan, file, and order office supplies • Perform other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: • Ability to work in-office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. • Experience working in a law firm environment is preferred, but we will train the right candidate • Strong administrative skills and customer service background • Detail-oriented • Computer savvy and comfortable working with various computer programs, databases, and systems • Reliable, trustworthy, and drama-free • You don’t think making coffee or getting our clients a beverage is beneath you • Positive, high-energy team player • You care about your job and want to continue your professional development • Spanish speaker is a plus Compensation: $18 - $25/hourly DOE
