    The Law Offices of Anna R. Yum is a team-oriented law firm that handles all types of criminal matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious and/or violent felonies in the Southern California area. We pride ourselves in helping clients come out of an extremely difficult and emotional process by knowing that they had a team behind them that truly cared and fought for them throughout the legal process. We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 1 to 2 years of experience in criminal law. The right candidate will get to handle their own caseload which includes arraignments, pre-trial readiness conferences (for both misdemeanors and felonies), preliminary hearings, pre-trial motions, sentencing hearings, probation revocations, jury trials, and more! Responsibilities: • Arraignments • Pre-trial readiness conferences (for both misdemeanors and lower level felonies) • Preliminary hearings • Pre-trial motions • Sentencing hearings • Probation revocations • Preparing and litigating temporary restraining orders • Jury trials, etc. • Client meetings Qualifications: Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • 1-2 years of criminal law experience • Licensed to practice law in California • Valid driver's license • No previous disciplinary action by any state bar Compensation: $70,000 - $88,000 yearly
