    Our small, but busy Law Office is looking for an efficient, organized legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist our clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, and handle some office correspondence including answering phone calls occasionally and emails. If you have experience in a law firm environment, work well under pressure, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in the legal industry, we want to connect with you. Compensation is $48,000 DOE (PTO,401K with company match, Medical/Dental/Vision, Bonus Program) Responsibilities: Conduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly • Help with creating a variety of documents, proofread documents when necessary • Take care of some administrative tasks, emails, communicating closely with Attorney's and Legal Staff • Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail Qualifications: Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times Proficient with MS Office products • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm • Experience in Washington State • Excellent work ethic with ability to work independently • Ability to prioritize, calendar, monitor, and meet deadlines • Experience in organizing and maintaining electronic and paper client files • Experience drafting, editing and finalizing correspondences and any other documents assigned by paralegals and attorneys Compensation: $48,000 DOE

    • Help with creating a variety of documents, proofread documents when necessary • Take care of some administrative tasks, emails, communicating closely with Attorney's and Legal Staff • Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail • Complete court filings (e-file in Peirce and King Counties)
