Job Description
The Law Offices of Mark Weinstein, P.C. was established in 2001 and specializes in eminent domain law, real estate litigation and personal injury law. The firm has experienced rapid growth, is currently building a new 5,000 square foot office in the Cumming area and is seeking to hire a paralegal to assist in providing overall support to 6 full time attorneys.
The owner and founder Mark Weinstein, Esq. (AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell) is a Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG) for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GA DOT) and has handled scores of road projects for GDOT involving thousands of closings and hundreds of condemnation actions. Mr. Weinstein and the firm also handle all types of real estate litigation, including quiet title actions, partition actions, boundary line disputes, disputes over easement rights, malpractice actions involving real estate transactions, eminent domain matters against condemning authorities other than GA DOT, and various other real estate related matters. The firm also handles all types of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, premises liability, wrongful death and other tort cases.
The firm currently employs five associate attorneys: Matthew Chamberlain, Esq., a 2015 Emory Fellow who joined the firm in 2015, Daniel E. Oliva, Esq. and Jason Mirabella, Esq. who each joined the firm in 2018, Camesha L. Mitchell who joined the firm in 2019, and Edward T. Howden, III who joined the firm in 2020. The firm also employs Marketing Director Jessica Pavley, Office Manager Paula Jenkins, Legal Assistant Sally Warrener and Finance Assistant Jackie Bowman.
The firm is looking for a paralegal to assist with both real estate and personal injury litigation, as well as direct communications with clients and potential clients.

Previous experience in real estate law and/or personal injury litigation preferred, but candidates with a strong desire to join the field are encouraged to apply.
Compensation is between $20.00 - $35.00 hourly depending upon education and experience.
