    Seeking Associate Attorney - First Party Property Damage Litigation Law Firm We are currently seeking 0-5 year First-Party Property Damage Associate Attorneys to join our Hollywood, FL law firm. We are not your typical law firm. Our boutique firm is growing rapidly and we’re looking for attorneys who can hit the ground running to provide outstanding representation to clients. Attorneys will be responsible for handling cases in which the firm represents property owners in First-Party Property Damage disputes. Responsibilities: • Job duties will include drafting and arguing motions, drafting pleadings and discovery documents, taking and defending depositions, attending mediations, preparing for trial, meeting with clients, providing monthly status updates to our clients and participating in firm-sponsored marketing events • The ideal candidates will have experience in litigating first-party property and bad faith claims • Engage in direct communications via telephone and e-mail with opposing counsel and clients Qualifications: • An active member of the Florida Bar • Some experience in drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions • Great communication skills, interpersonal skills • Excellent research and writing abilities • Experience with Westlaw or LexisNexis and Microsoft Office products • Some deposition and mediation experience • Highly organized, self-motivated individual capable of operating under minimal supervision • Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary • Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage and prioritize caseloads while handling complex matters • The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to providing the HIGHEST QUALITY CLIENT SERVICE, be able to identify and resolve problems promptly, be CONSCIENTIOUS concerning work completion and deadlines, and be DETAIL-ORIENTED Compensation: $55,000 + (based on experience)
