POSITION OVERVIEW:

This key support role will serve our rapidly growing family law client base by quickly responding to their questions, moving them through to the next steps in their process, working directly with the founding attorney, so our clients can know their best options, be provided exceptional representation, and pursue settlements as fast as possible that are in their best interests so our clients can maximize value with their legal fees and get the best results possible.

Once hired, you will play a key role at our firm and will immediately be interfacing with clients, working cases, and becoming the best paralegal you can be.

You will be helping our medium sized law firm continue to grow as we are currently a team of 5 and you will be the 6th.

I am looking for someone with a high social IQ who will also be able to connect with clients on a personal level and believes that clients deserve personalized, friendly legal services at a competitive rate.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Interface with new and existing clients and work on their case from beginning to end

• Answering the phone, intaking new clients, and utilizing a drip-campaign to stay connected

• Respond to any and all communications promptly and thoroughly

• Be approachable so clients feel heard, understood, and cared for

• Prepare documents that best represent our clients interests

• Advise clients of their legal rights so they and their families will be prepared and protected

• Keep clients informed on all aspects of their cases

• Comply with any and all legal requirements and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Must have at least 2 years of legal experience (family law preferred)

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication

• Must be approachable

• Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Must be knowledgeable in reviewing and preparing legal documents (family law preferred)

• Must be knowledgeable in legal research (family law preferred)

• Must be proficient with working with electronic files

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, Slack, DocuSign or other esigning software, Lawyaw or other form filling software

• Must be proficient with working in a virtual environment
