    We are a reputable law firm in Sacramento, California, experiencing exponential growth, and we are searching for a driven, personable, and innovative Associate Attorney to join our team. The Principal Attorney and owner will provide ongoing training regarding substantive law, as well as continued support in the attorney's caseload and projects. The attorney will also have access to the career and professional development resources of the firm and founding attorney. Responsibilities: • Meet with and advise clients via telephone, in person, and video regarding a variety of legal matters in the Trusts & Estates and Business Law practice area • Review, prepare, and supervise the preparation of legal documents such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, business contracts, deeds, leases, and LLC and corporate formation documents • Manage own caseload of Estate Planning, Business, Probate, and Trust Administration cases with little supervision • Perform legal research as needed to assist clients in their case evaluations and strategies • Attend hearings on behalf of clients in probate court (non-contested) • Communicate with the Principal Attorney, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently • Contribute to increasing firm efficiency and development of processes and procedures • Handle client consultations and meet with clients Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree is required from an accredited law school • Empathetic with a strong desire to help others • License to practice law in California after passing the bar exam • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills • Experience and comfort with various technology platforms • Strong legal research skills • High attention to detail • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an attorney in the area of Trusts & Estates and/or Business Law (both preferred) Compensation: $110,000+ annual salary
