    We are a growing law firm located in Sacramento, California, searching for a driven, personable, and innovative associate attorney to join our team. The key to our exponential growth can be attributed to our focus on customer service, relationship-based legal representation, and providing superior legal services with the client's best interests in mind. Therefore, the right candidate will have a very strong desire to help others. The founding attorney will provide ongoing training regarding substantive law, as well as continued support in the associate attorney's caseload and projects. We know the best organizations have the best people, and so we always support our staff in their professional development. The attorney will also have access to career and professional development resources of the firm and founding attorney. The candidate must be extremely comfortable working with various technology platforms and programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Practice Panther (or other case management software), Wealth Counsel, and knowledge-base software. Licensure to practice law in Wisconsin and/or Arizona is a plus. Our firm values diversity, and the ability to speak a second language is also a plus (but not required). You must provide at least two references and an unedited law-related writing sample upon request. Responsibilities: • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action • Communicate with the founding attorney, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently • Contribute to increasing firm efficiency and development of processes and procedures • Review and draft legal documents, including many types of business agreements, Trusts, and other estate planning documents, deeds, leases, etc. • Handle client consultations and contribute to sales/onboarding of potential new clients (PNCs) Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree is required from an accredited law school • Empathetic with a strong desire to help others • License to practice law in California after passing bar exam • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills • Experience and comfort with various technology platforms • Strong legal research skills • High attention to detail • 2-5 years' experience in Trusts & Estates and/or Business Law Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 annual salary
