    Good Life Legal is growing! Due to our growth, we need a partner-level attorney or senior associate to help us serve our growing number of clients. Here is the information you need to know about the partnership/senior associate opportunity: • We run the business and operations, so you don’t have to. • You can work about 95% remotely, or you can choose to come into the office. • Low hourly billing requirements. Our focus is on moving cases forward, not the amount of time you spend grinding on a case. • No sales. We handle that for you. • No collecting. We collect in advance. • Generous vacation time. • If you don’t bring staff with you, we recruit your staff, and you make the final hiring decisions. We take care of: • Advertising and Sales • Staff/Hiring/HR • Technology and Software • Continuing Legal Education, including travel expenses • Systems and Processes • Business and Operations Management Responsibilities: • You must live in or near the county in which you primarily practice. We love technology, but sometimes you must show up for court or a client on short notice. • You must organize your own cases and manage your team in terms of providing leadership and direction. We provide Clio case management software, a forms database, Lexis+ AI access, and a variety of other systems and software. • You must seek board certification in Family Law. • You must provide weekly reports on your caseload. Your staff can produce the reports, but you are obviously responsible for moving your cases to completion. • Billable hour requirements are 1,150 per year. We expect you to take 4 weeks off per year, including holidays, PTO, and sick time. We also expect you to use Fridays for education, organization, and reporting, with minimal billing. Qualifications: Requirements : • 4+ years of full-time practice as a Divorce, Family Law, or Civil Litigation attorney. • 10+ trials of 1 day or more during the last 2 years in which you were the lead attorney. • Live in, or be willing to relocate to the First Circuit (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, or Walton County). • Alignment with our core values. • Capable of managing a team of staff (paralegals, assistants, and receptionists). • Willing to seek Florida Bar Board Certification in Family Law • Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar. Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 yearly
