Lawn Doctor of Kingwood - Humble is growing! We are looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawncare and pest control services to join our team. Our technicians are customer-facing brand ambassadors. Lawn Doctor technicians treat lawns with top quality, environmentally sensitive products such as fertilizers, herbicides, pest control, aerate lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field.

Starting compensation range $14.00 - $20.00 per hour with merit based raises
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation to work, good attendance record, seeking long term employment, enjoys working outside and interacting with customers. Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable and will be compensated accordingly. Starting compensation is $14.00 - $20.00 per hour plus commission depending on experience.

Good written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
Positive attitude and self-motivated
Must enjoy interacting with customers and providing information/solutions as needed
Ability to listen and learn quickly
Ability to operate machinery
Ability to meet production goals
Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
Pass a drug test and background check.
Job Responsibilities:
Applying fertilizers, weed control, insect and disease control to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
Identification of pests, cultural problems, and the proper use of select products
Driving company vehicle to customer locations
Effectively communicating with customers regarding treatment and recommendations
Managing daily vehicle inventory and equipment
Completion of accurate documentation for customers, office, and Texas Department of Agriculture
Maintaining vehicle and equipment
