Bluestem Outdoor Services, a trusted leader in commercial landscaping in the DFW area since 2012, is looking for an experienced Lawn Care Technician to join our dedicated team.
The Lawn Care Technician is responsible for providing high-quality lawn care services to commercial properties by safely and accurately applying liquid and granular products, maintaining equipment, and delivering professional customer service. This role requires technical knowledge of chemical applications, safe driving practices, and clear communication with both clients and management.
Responsibilities:
Apply liquid and granular lawn care products to commercial properties in accordance with company standards, label instructions, and applicable regulations.
Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling to and from job sites and while on client property.
Maintain assigned truck, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on lawn care and application equipment; report equipment issues promptly.
Accurately complete service records, application logs, and any required documentation.
Communicate effectively with management regarding schedules, product usage, equipment needs, and any service issues.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and must be able to pass Motor Vehicle Record check
Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience applying lawn care chemicals, including liquid and granular products.
Knowledge of proper handling, mixing, and application of lawn care chemicals in compliance with label instructions and regulations.
Must be 21 years of age or older by hiring date
Ability to safely operate trucks and lawn care equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, carry, and load materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.
