The Assistant needs to be able to work well in a fast-paced environment; care about making a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. The Assistant will manage clients’ schedules by matching proper caregivers.

Duties:

The main duty is to assist with scheduling, recruiting and social mediaCreate, update and maintain a schedule for most caregivers and clientsCommunicate with the caregiver, client and responsible parties regarding care plan, change, concernsEnter client and caregiver information into the computer systemDocument properly and update promptly to the team, client and responsible partiesAssist with recruiting and HR-related issuesAnswer telephone, welcome walk-ins in a warm & professional mannerFile documents promptly and keep caregivers files up to dateOther duties as needed

Qualifications:A minimum of 1 yearclerical experience required (preferably in a Home Care or related environment)Quick thinking, highly motivated, organizedAccuracy, attention to detail, and persistent follow-throughAbility to multitask and stay focused with some interruptions.Work efficiently and effectively under time pressureGood time management skills and ability to prioritizeExcellent phone manner and customer service skillsAbility to carry out directions, read and write. Good listener.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.Flexible, dependable and ethicalWilling to take initiatives and good at problem-solvingExcellent computer skills a MUST, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel.Typing speed: minimum of 30 wpmA positive and healthy attitude towards clients, staff and the agencyMaintain the proper standard of professional conductAble to work independently and in collaboration
