Lawn Doctor of Lawrenceville-Suwanee is looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians. Our Lawn Care Technicians are customer-facing brand ambassadors. They treat lawns with top quality, environmentally sensitive products, aerate and seed lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field.

Lawn Care Specialist position main requirements are: enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions, strong work ethic, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation to work, good attendance record, and ability to operate machinery.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare chemical solutions – fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides according to technical instructions.

Load materials to service vehicles, clean, and maintain equipment.

Provide professional treatments to turf and ornamental, including: spread granular products and spray chemicals to improve turf and ornamental appearance, and apply products to control weeds, fungus and insects.

Perform Core aeration and Seeding.

Perform estimates and lawn analysis, identify turf types insects and turf diseases, and provide service recommendations for customers.

Complete production paperwork and treatment records.

Perform simple marketing activities like door hanging and placing yard signs.

Qualifications and Skills

Position Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid GA driver's license and a clean driving record. No DUIs!

Able to perform various physical activities throughout the day, lifting 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.

Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Able to excel in team environment as well as being self-directed being out on your own with little direct supervision.

Willing and able to operate a variety of tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Must pass a drug test and background check.

Possess honesty and integrity.

Ability to meet/exceed production goals.

Skills
