Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team! If you are a hard-working, team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do this is the position for you. You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed lawn for our customers. In this department you are responsible for preparing and driving company equipment, directing, and developing your crews to ensure quality work is performed, caring for equipment, and ensuring safety. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this is a hands-on position which allows you to take full ownership in accomplishing the work in the field.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining quality maintenance at both commercial and residential properties

Load and unload equipment from trucks

Time management for daily workload assigned to you

Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment each day

Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings

Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members

Supervise additional crew members assigned to your crew

Maintain proper documentation using CRM software while infield

Safe operation and maintenance of the following lawn equipment:

Mowers - Push, walk behind and ride varying in sizes

Edgers and string trimmers

Backpack blowers

Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools

Required Skills:

Ability to bend, squat and lift on a continual basis

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions for an extended period

Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Must wear sturdy shoes, company uniforms, and assigned PPE

Must present yourself in a professional, polite manner

Must practice safety with equipment

Must wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required

Must have valid MI Driver's license and maintain a good driving record (CDL preferred)

Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others

Must comply with Belbot Services policies and procedures
