    Job Position: Lawn Maintenance Crew Lead

    Position Overview

    The lawn maintenance crew lead oversees daily landscaping operations, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role includes supervising and training crew members, organizing daily schedules, coordinating equipment and materials, and maintaining direct communication with management and clients.

    Who to Report To

    Account manager/supervisor

    Qualifications

    · 2+ years of landscaping or groundskeeping experience (leadership experience preferred)

    · Clean criminal background

    · Valid chauffer’s license with a clean driving record

    · Must be able to train crew members

    · Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility

    · Must be comfortable using mobile apps (such as Aspire and other apps) to clock in, record work, and communicate while on job sites.

    · Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing (Bilingual preferred English/Spanish)

    · High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

    · Reliable transportation to/from work

    · Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends

    · Physically able to handle the workload in all types of weather and have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body (able to lift heavy without needing assistance - at least 50 lbs)

    · Leadership/good communication skills

    Responsibilities

    · Plan, organize, and oversee daily crew operations to ensure and maintain a sufficient utilization and efficiency rate

    · Clock in/clock out crew members

    · Lead and participate in lawn care tasks: mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and clean-up, landscape bed maintenance, and other landscape services

    · Operate and maintain power equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools

    · Ensure proper loading/unloading of trucks and trailers

    · Train and mentor crew members to meet safety and quality standards

    · Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance

    · Communicate effectively with management and clients regarding job progress and issues

    · Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and PPE requirements
