Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Environmental Worker III.
In this role, the successful candidate LICH serves a diverse population of patients, including those with special needs, at all stages of the life cycle. Environmental Service Worker III demonstrates the ability to deal effectively with various age groups of patients, visitors and staff in order to provide required duties. The unique physical and psychosocial needs of patients relative to age-specific requirements are considered in the provision of ESW III duties. Communication skills must be demonstrated through age-specific interactions that enhance customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High school diploma or equivalency in order to follow written work assignments & maintain records
Approximately one to three months experience to gain knowledge of cleaning procedures and power equipment use and maintenance.
Continued education through appropriate seminars, workshops, participation in departmental meetings, inservices & attention to Brookhavens memorandum.
Good interpersonal skills demonstrable in interactions with staff, administrators, patients and visitors.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Long Island Community Hospital provides a salary range to comply with the New York State Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45,825 - $45,825 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
