Job Description

Lawrence J Beardsley is a 25 year+ Accounting firm in the DFW Metroplex, which primarily serves Healthcare companies, is looking for a Tax Manager (CPA Preferred) to join their team. They have offices in both Dallas and Arlington, TX.

You will work directly with business owners and manage all tax related matters. You will be more of an advisor and bring value to the client relationship. Everything you do will come back to providing exceptional tax services for your clients!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing our clients with federal tax advice and guidance tailored to their unique needs

· Providing one-on-one interaction with clients, your team, and meet deadlines

· Supervising high performance teams and sharing your experience and knowledge of leading practices

· Resolving complex tax issues for clients

· Training and developing technical skills among staff

· Building relationships at all levels both internally and externally, promoting a culture of collaboration

· Maintaining a positive and “team player” attitude

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· CPA

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree in accounting preferred

· Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience working for a public accounting firm

· Must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a complex, dynamic environment

· Experienced in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation

· Strong written and verbal communications skills

· Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
