Construction Labor Emergency Services Technician
Construction Labor- Emergency Services Division Technician: A first responder to a home emergency. This role would prepare a home for reconstruction and create temporary fixes until permanent fixes could be done. This role will be responsible for everything from boarding up a window to water/ fire mitigation and controlled demolition to asbestos removal. It is imperative that the person in this role is certified and understands that they will be handling hazardous material. Responsibilities: • Water mitigation • Fire mitigation • Preparing home for reconstruction • Boarding up windows • Clean up • Remove asbestos and other hazardous material Qualifications: • Restoration industry experience • IICRC certifications • Asbestos certification a plus • Endorsement to haul hazardous material (asbestos waste) a plus • Valid driver license with a clean driving record a must • Water tech certification a plus • Asbestos certification a plus Compensation: $15 - $25 an hour
