CPT: Comedy People's Time, a monthly show running for 3+ years, seeks assistance in growing its audience and creating new performance opportunities. The Promotions Coordinator position is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in a career in publicity, talent management, marketing, and entertainment. The Promotions Coordinator should be strategic, resourceful, and embody a relentless entrepreneurial spirit. Expectations of the Promotions Coordinator include: - Managing the Comedy People's Time social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) by crafting and sending approved posts, thus expanding the social network of the show - Spreading the word about CPT online and IRL - Keeping the CPT mailing list up to date - Seeking out paid performance opportunities in New York City and abroad - Exploring possibilities for media coverage of the show (feature articles, interviews, show listings, etc.) To supplement base payment, potential bonuses include: - 5% commission on all paid performances that you procure - A packed-house bonus whenever CPT sells out - Attendance at CPT is not required, but admission of the Promotions Coordinator would be free If interested, please reply with a message including some information you believe may be pertinent to the role (a formal resume is appreciated but not required).
