We are seeking an attorney who is ready to take ownership of a new office location and lead its development with confidence and professionalism.

    Lead Attorney – Orlando Office Zoecklein Law is launching a new Orlando office and is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial attorney to lead and grow this location. This is not a junior associate role. This position is designed for an attorney who wants autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to build a strong market presence in the Orlando / Central Florida region, while supported by an established Florida firm. You will oversee legal operations in the Orlando office, manage active casework across Medicaid planning, estate planning, probate, and probate litigation, and work closely with firm leadership on strategic growth and expansion.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a variety of matters, including Medicaid planning strategies, estate planning, probate administration, and related litigation.

    You will manage active cases, provide legal guidance to clients, draft pleadings and planning documents, and collaborate with firm leadership to build and scale the Orlando office.

    This role offers a high level of autonomy, along with the infrastructure and support of an established firm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents

    Handle Medicaid planning cases, including asset protection strategies and eligibility planning

    Draft and oversee estate planning documents (wills, trusts, advance directives)

    Manage probate administrations and probate litigation matters from intake through resolution

    Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings

    Provide clear legal analysis and maintain strong client communication

    Manage assigned case files, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met

    Collaborate with paralegals, intake, and operations teams to support efficient case progression

    Contribute to the growth and development of the Orlando office

    Uphold the firm’s values of integrity, accountability, and clear communication

    Qualifications:

    Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

    Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar

    Experience in probate, estate planning, Medicaid planning, or related litigation preferred

    Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

    Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently

    Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building a market presence
