• Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable experience in lieu of degree

  • An advanced degree may substitute 1-2 years of related work experience

• At least 6 years of nuclear quality assurance experience

• Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular fields of specialization to the completion of complex assignments

• Advanced knowledge of related quality assurance standards, techniques and criteria

• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria

• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and convey complex technical data

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. You will be part of the proven team in the Instrumentation & Controls Business Unit. Under broad supervision, this position is responsible for performing quality surveillances and auditing supplier, project processes, and activities to ensure that appropriate controls have been defined and implemented to meet customer, regulatory and quality program requirements. Incumbents demonstrate expertise in a variety of concepts, practices and procedures and rely on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals. Your work will include:

• Plans, schedules and conducts independent audits and surveillance of materials and products.
• Reviews documents, prepares checklists, conducts assessment interviews and prepares Audit, Survey, and Surveillance reports.
• Ensures corrective action issues are identified & documented; conducts 'root cause' or 'apparent cause' analyses; verifies that corrective/preventative actions are effective and documented in the corrective action programs.
• Reviews procedures to comply with ISO, ASME, ANSI & NRC stds. and other national/international regulations.
• Maintains knowledge and understanding of NRC or other pertinent regulations and industry codes and standards.
• Awareness and comprehension of company & industry engineering processes, computer codes and standards.
• Develops and implements nuclear and/or non-nuclear QA procedures to be followed for design, procurement, construction and/or operation of materials and/or processes.
• Reviews QA specifications, test reports and other documentation to ensure safety and QA requirements are met.
• Inspects and reviews contractors' and vendors' work for compliance with QA standards.
• Coordinates with Framatome Inc. Supplier Quality Management and is the primary contact for I&C Business Unit Suppliers and ASL maintenance.
• Routinely interfaces with Suppliers, both internal and external to Framatome.

This position requires up to 50% travel to Suppliers and Framatome facilities in the US, Canada, and Internationally. A valid passport is required. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $97,000 - $144,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
