Grabacup is officially opening inside Agape Tennis Academy soon in Chastain Park, and we’re looking for amazing people to join our opening team! We’re creating more than just a coffee shop — Grabacup is a fun, community-driven café experience where coffee, wellness, tennis, and connection all come together. Responsibilities: Opening Responsibilities • Open café and prepare workstation • Turn on the espresso machine and equipment • Calibrate espresso shots and grinders • Brew coffee and teas • Stock cups, lids, syrups, milks, and supplies • Prep ingredients for drinks and grab-and-go items • Ensure café is clean and guest-ready Customer Service • Greet customers warmly • Take customer orders accurately • Answer menu questions and make recommendations • Create a welcoming and positive environment • Handle transactions and operate the POS system • Resolve customer concerns professionally Drink & Food Preparation • Prepare espresso-based drinks • Make specialty beverages, smoothies, matcha, teas, and cold foam drinks • Follow recipes and quality standards consistently • Heat or prepare grab-and-go food items as needed • Maintain presentation and drink quality Cleanliness & Sanitation • Maintain the cleanliness of the café, bar, and seating areas • Wash dishes and small wares • Sanitize counters, tools, and equipment regularly • Follow the health department food safety guidelines • Restock cleaning supplies and sanitizers • Take out trash and maintain organized storage areas Daily Operations • Monitor inventory levels throughout the shift • Restock refrigerators and merchandise displays • Communicate low inventory or supply needs to management • Support teammates during busy periods • Maintain speed, accuracy, and efficiency during rushes • Follow opening, shift change, and closing checklists Closing Responsibilities • Clean espresso machines and grinders • Sweep and mop floors • Wash and organize equipment • Restock café for next shift • Count/register close if assigned • Secure café and complete closing checklist Ideal Barista Qualities • Positive attitude • Strong communication skills • Attention to detail • Ability to multitask • Team-oriented mindset • Dependable and punctual • Passion for coffee and hospitality Create a fun, community-driven environment inside the tennis center Educate guests on specialty coffee and wellness-focused drinks Represent the Grabacup brand and culture with professionalism and energy Qualifications: • Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly + tips
