    Fabian's Italian Bistro & Bar in Fair Oaks is an award-winning, family-owned restaurant, offering a hand crafted, seasonal menu featuring local ingredients. We are seeking talented applicants with a passion for food and fine dining to join our team. Join our warm, family-oriented team at Fabian's Italian Bistro! We are seeking an experienced and creative LEAD BARTENDER to elevate our beverage program, lead our bar staff, and deliver exceptional hospitality.

    HIGHLIGHTS:

    $20/hr + tips

    Two consecutive days off: Monday/Tuesday

    25-30 Hours per week

    Set schedule: Wednesday - Sunday nights

    Upscale bar atmosphere

    Key Responsibilities:

    Create and update seasonal cocktail menus

    Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service, ABC regulations, and safety standards

    Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area at all times

    Prepare and maintain all in-house spirits, mixes and garnished

    Deliver exceptional guest service and handle inquiries or concerns professionally

    Collaborate with kitchen on pairings, special events, and wine dinners

    Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and nightly reporting

    Qualifications:

    2+ years professional bartending experience; prior lead or supervisory role strongly preferred

    Deep knowledge of wines, classic cocktails, and mixology

    Current TIPS or California RBS certification (or ability to obtain immediately)

    Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

    Experience with POS systems and basic inventory management

    Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Passion for fine dining, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences

    Must be 21+ years old and able to pass a background check
