    PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

    Lead safe and efficient execution of entire bottling process, continuously identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.

    Assist with departmental operations across Journeyman properties as required.

    Train, develop, and manage all members of the Bottling team to perform all responsibilities and uphold the highest quality control standards.

    Enforce accountability of all Journeyman policies, procedures, and core values amongst the Bottling team.

    Manage all hiring, performance reviews, promotions, pay raises, disciplinary action, and termination matters, making recommendations to the Production Manager, as necessary.

    Ensure all bottling goals are accomplished in a productive and efficient manner, meeting all established deadlines and budgets.

    Ensure availability of all liquid and dry materials as required for each shift.

    Perform daily Quality Control checks on the bottling line.

    Ensure all bottling areas, especially those which are in public view or utilized for events are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner.

    Manage the execution of all outgoing shipping processes in a timely manner.

    Work cross-functionally with all departments to solve issues and ensure hospitality standards and positive experiences are achieved.

    Participate in and lead weekly departmental meetings, reporting successes, established metrics, achievements, areas of opportunity, issues needing solved, and proposed solutions.

    Complete and submit daily reporting and Distilling Process Software entries.

    Perform monthly finished goods and dry material inventory counts.

    Participate in updating and maintaining all bottling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    Assist in departmental or interdepartmental projects, as assigned, and with approval from the Production Manager.

    PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND VISUAL SKILLS:

    Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.

    Ability to carry out and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions independently.

    Ability to use all senses to ensure consistency and quality in the bottling process.

    Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job function.

    Ability to use hands in a precise and repetitive manner for periods of 8 -10 hours a day

    Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    Ability to use logical or rational thinking to solve problems.

    Must have ability to perform moderate physical work; may be required to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, up to 18 pounds frequently and performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping for up to 10 hours without sitting.

    Must have ability to sit or stand and focus on a single task for up to 10 hours.

    EDUCATIONAL, DEVELOPMENT AND WORK-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

    A bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is preferred.

    One to two years training or equivalent experience in production assembly is preferred.

    Familiarity with an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is a plus.

    REQUIRED WORK HABITS:

    Work habits include regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability, and promptness.

    Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in managing daily workload, enforcing accountability, and reacting to stresses of the department, employee conflicts, unforeseen obstacles, etc.

    Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Works primarily indoors in spirits production environment.

    Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement hazards, sharp utensils, extremely hot wax, and dangerous chemicals/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

    Must have reliable transportation.
