We are currently seeking a Lead Building Maintenance Technician to lead a 3 - 5 person maintenance team! This person must be self motivated, have a friendly demeanor and able to collaborate with others. You will be responsible for coordinating work orders & special projects in an organized and expeditious manner. This is not meant to be a complete list of responsibilities and or qualifications.

Responsibilities:

Complete or assign work and repair orders in a timely fashion

Estimate time and analyze the extent of repairs

Perform routine preventive maintenance by maintaining a proactive maintenance schedule

Spring & fall property cleans ups

Maintain material and supply inventory

Oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors as necessary

Maintain good working relationship with building management & club members

Qualifications:

Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields to include but not limited to:

10+ years HVAC experience, Boiler, Plumbing, Electrical, Irrigation, Building Control & Security Systems

Fundamental understanding of maintenance tools and equipment

Minor carpentry

Ability to handle a physical workload

Light Interior Demolition

Task deadline and detail-oriented

Valid Driver License

Reliable transportation

Must have a good attitude and be able to effectively communicate with building owners, tenants, club management, club members, project managers, vendors and office staff. The technician would be in charge of a large resort facility in Detroit and must have the ability to be on call when the schedule demands.

Technician must have computer skills to be able to navigate the email system, retain work orders and be able to work within the company's software platform.

Certifications would be well recognized.

This is a year round, full time position.
