Position Overview We’re looking for a Buyer's Agent to join our team of professionals. If you love real estate, connecting with and educating buyers, but prefer to leave the marketing and lead generation to the experts, then this position could be a great fit. Responsibilities: Showing Responsibilities/Duties (including, but not limited to): • Advise and Strategize: Collaborate closely with buyer clients to clarify their needs, wants, and lifestyle goals, helping them refine their search criteria and prioritize key features in a home. • Home Search and Tours: Proactively identify and preview properties that align with client goals, schedule and conduct home tours, and provide insightful feedback and analysis after each showing. • Client Education and Advocacy: Guide buyers through every step of the home buying process, from initial consultation to closing, offering clarity on contracts, contingencies, financing, inspections, and negotiations. • Local Expertise and Research: Deliver hyperlocal market knowledge and in-depth property research to empower buyers with a competitive edge and help them make confident decisions. • Market Insights: Provide timely updates on pricing trends, new inventory, and market shifts to ensure clients are informed and well-positioned in a dynamic market. • Client Communication: Maintain consistent, responsive communication via phone, email, and text, ensuring a high-touch, concierge-level service experience. • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the lead agent and other team members to align on strategy, share updates, and ensure a seamless, unified client experience from start to finish. Escrow Responsibilities/Duties (including, but not limited to): • Contract Oversight: Diligently review, manage, and ensure accuracy and compliance of all contracts and disclosures. Exercise exceptional attention to detail to guarantee that all documentation is complete, properly executed, and meets legal and brokerage standards. • Buyer Representation Agreement Management: Draft and initiate new buyer representation agreements, maintain organized tracking systems, and proactively monitor agreement expirations to ensure continued alignment and compliance. • Timeline & Deadline Management: Build, monitor, and enforce detailed transaction timelines to ensure all contract milestones, deadlines, and contingencies are met with precision. • Communication Lead: Serve as the primary liaison between all parties in the transaction—including clients, cooperating agents, lenders, inspectors, escrow officers, and title reps—ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication at every step. • Escrow & Title Coordination: Partner closely with escrow and title companies to facilitate a smooth, efficient closing process and ensure all paperwork and funds are handled accurately and on time. • Inspection & Appraisal Coordination: Manage scheduling, access, and follow-up for all inspections and appraisals. Keep clients and stakeholders informed of outcomes, next steps, and implications on timelines or negotiations. • Contingency Oversight: Proactively track and manage all contractual contingencies (e.g., loan, inspection, appraisal), ensuring each is resolved or released within the required timeframe. • Solutions-Oriented Problem Solving: Anticipate challenges, address obstacles with urgency and professionalism, and implement creative solutions to maintain momentum and client confidence throughout the transaction. Qualifications: Desired Qualifications • Active California Real Estate License with at least 2 years experience • Strong Interpersonal communication skills – You’re a great listener who focuses on the needs of the client • Cognizant of buyer priorities and adept at dispelling reservations • Composed under pressure • Conscientious and dedicated to serving clients with their best interest in mind • Driven to meet sales goals while simultaneously providing exceptional service • Eager to learn and continually develop skills • Organized and able to prioritize tasks accordingly Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a Full Time position with a salary pay and comissions. Days and hours of work will be determined with the candidate but are expected to be approximately 40-50 hours per week. The schedule will be 4-6 days per week in office and at least one of those days will be a weekend day. This exempt position will require flexibility and will absolutely require working on the weekend and in the evening to meet the demands of the role. Any candidate should understand these requirements and understand that the work schedule will include either a Saturday or Sunday. Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 yearly
