GP Painting is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team as a Lead Carpenter - Crew Leader. We are a professional painting company that performs high-quality residential and commercial projects, and we need an experienced carpenter to handle miscellaneous repairs that go hand-in-hand with our painting work.

Position Overview

This role combines hands-on carpentry work with leadership responsibilities. You will perform small to medium-sized carpentry and repair jobs while leading a crew to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage crew members on job sites

Perform small to medium carpentry and repair work

Build small decks

Repair dry rot and structural damage

Repair and texture drywall

Replace doors and windows

Remove, add, and frame walls

Coordinate repairs in conjunction with painting projects

Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every project

Qualifications

Strong carpentry skills and experience in residential repairs

Ability to lead and motivate a crew

Experience with drywall repair and texturing

Knowledge of framing and light structural work

Professional communication skills with customers and team members

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
